IMA and Plooto

In the ongoing PLOOTO project, IMA is taking a big step forward in sustainable production by enhancing its recycling processes, specifically through the injection of magnets. As environmental protection becomes increasingly crucial, IMA’s commitment to improving its magnet recycling capacity and optimizing the overall process plays a key role in minimizing waste.IMA focuses on recycling both scrap and castings from injected parts, ensuring that all materials are reused, which contributes to a circular production model. A significant part of this optimization is the improved mold design, which maximizes the use of virgin material, reducing the amount of scrap and casting waste. While recycled materials are still part of the process, the reduction in waste means that the original raw materials are being used more efficiently.The PLOOTO project is a driving force in helping IMA refine its production and recycling efforts, solidifying its role as an environmentally-conscious company and boosting its sustainability initiatives.
